There is no doubt Dick Clark will be greatly missed by many people, and with his ties to St. Cloud it makes the loss of such an iconic man feel that much 'closer to home'. But I think what is going to be the hardest will be ringing in 2013 without Dick Clark.

Tonight's 80's @ 8 video has little to do with my typical 80's video. But with the passing of Dick Clark, it's hard to think about any other individual who made music and the artists who sang them, regardless of the style or format, more mainstream...

There isn't a single person who reads this story that hasn't seen at least one episode of American Bandstand. I'd bet my bosses Ferrari on it. Words like "institution" and "legendary" easily describe the show we all watched to get a glimpse of the artists and see our fellow teens dance.
