Colleges and Universities have stepped up their aggressiveness in pursuing students over the past few years. St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says many schools are dealing with reduced enrollment but this hasn't caused them to lower their standards.
St. Cloud State University has adjusted how they prepare students for life after college because things have changed because of the pandemic. As a society we may have always been moving toward more remote job opportunities but the amount of jobs that can be done remotely has increased greatly in the past year and a half.
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are mandating vaccines for all employees and some students. Those required to get a vaccine or weekly test include Students living in college or university-owned residence facilities, students participating in intercollegiate athletics and students required to vaccinate by their clinical or internship sites.
