The Grateful Dead song "One Thing to Try" cautions listeners "Don't be a collector of more than you need," but that doesn't apply to tickets to the band's 50th anniversary reunion shows, which are fetching absurd prices on the secondary market.

The Grateful Dead will celebrate their 50th anniversary next year, and they're marking the occasion with a film executive produced by Martin Scorsese and billed as "their first official career-spanning documentary."

Bob Dylan wasn't exactly at the peak of his career when he released 'Dylan & the Dead,' a collaborative live album with the Grateful Dead, on Feb. 6, 1989. In fact, he was pretty close to the bottom of his popularity, influence and creativity. And another live album -- his third in 10 years -- certainly didn't help matters.

This is the live version, since it's only proper to experience the the Dead live on Halloween.

So many of these songs had been shaped and defined through appearances in their legendary live sets.

The former drummer for Grateful Dead has a warrant out for his arrest due to an alleged assault recently. So, what happened?
