With over 240 wins in 30 as head coach, Pierz's Leo Pohlkamp has been inducted into the Minnesota Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

It was a dominating finish to what was an impressive season for the Becker Bulldogs who captured the Class 4A title yesterday (Friday) 35-14 against South St. Paul at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Becker Bulldogs will face South St. Paul this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis to defend their Class 4A football title. The Pierz Pioneers will face Jackson County Central tomorrow for the Class 3A state title. Here's this weekend's Prep Bowl schedule.

With the unfortunate loss by the ROCORI Spartans last night to South St. Paul, the brackets are set for the Class 3A and 4A Prep Bowl state championship games next weekend at TCF Bank Stadium. Good luck to Becker & Pierz!

The score at halftime was ROCORI 7 and South St. Paul 13. Rocori got the ball to start the second half and were looking to even the score and maybe take the lead. They were marching down field but ultimately they were not able to score so they ended up punting the ball.

The Becker Bulldogs (12-0) beat the Stewartville Tigers (11-1) 34-14 last night in Chanhassen to send the Bulldogs back to the Class 4A championship Friday at TCF Bank Stadium. The Pierz Pioneers (12-0) topped Tri-City United (10-2) 29-6 at Park Center High School to send the Pioneers to the Class 3A title game.

It's state football semifinal weekend in Minnesota, with winners advancing to the Prep Bowl championships next weekend at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Becker will face Stewartville tonight in one of the Class 4A semifinals. Pierz will go up against Tri-City United in one of the two Class 3A semis. Here are the brackets, times, and locations:

The Becker Bulldogs (10-0) topped Benilde-St. Margaret's (5-5) 48-7 yesterday afternoon in Osseo, and the Pierz Pioneers (10-0) defeated Albany (9-1) 9-0 in St. Cloud to send both teams on to the State Football Tournament semifinals next week. The score was ROCORI 19 and Hermantown 13 at halftime. ROCORI got the ball to start the second half. They moved the ball very well down field but was unable to score on their first possession of the second half.
