Winter is off to a brutal start in Minnesota, so much so that some schools have already used their allotted snow days.

My family has some hunting land that is the ultimate porcupine hangout. It seems like we see them almost yearly now.

Most of us already know that it's legal to turn right on red unless otherwise indicated by signage. But there's an occasion when it's acceptable to turn left on red as well.

The days of having just a drink and being under the limit to drive may be going away if Minnesota goes along with scientists recommendation to lower the legal limit to 0.05.

I am all for making roads and drivers as safe as they can be, but a ticket for drinking my morning coffee?! That is crazy talk!
