The Timberwolves won 112-94 in Tulsa, Oklahoma against the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday night. The Wolves were led by veteran guard Mo Williams with 19 points. Ricky Rubio, Robbie Hummel and Kevin Martin each added 13 points for Minnesota.

Williams averaged just 9.7 points per game last season with the Blazers.

Cleveland's chances of making the NBA Finals and LeBron's likeability aren't the only things soaring in the NBA this summer.

The Timberwolves have reportedly shown interest in free agent shooting guard Evan Turner. Turner averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds a game while playing for Indiana in 2013-2014.

The Timberwolves chose one, if not the most, athletic player in the draft in 6'6 guard Zach LaVine from UCLA. LaVine played just one season at UCLA and averaged 9 points per game.

Saunders is currently the general manager of the Timberwolves.

In 25 seasons coaching at the NBA level Adelman won over 1,000 games.

Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman is not expected to return to the team following this season, but no official announcement was made after the game.
