Bodyguards had to pull the former Smiths singer away.

The singer says he agreed to the "lucrative offer," but the guitarist did not even acknowledge it.

"You praise her now ONLY because it is too late. You hadn’t the guts to support her when she was alive and she was looking for you."

The singer is warning the public of an "insane" and "aggressive" police officer who shouted at him while holding a gun without cause last night.

Originally called 'Steven,' in honor of Morrissey's given first name, 'England Is Mine' is due in theaters on Aug. 4.
