Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum is the latest featured person on WJON's My Life Series. Ryan grew up in the Sartell, his father worked for Simonson Lumber before teaching at Sartell High School.

Sartell expects 2023 to be a big year for commercial development in their community. An area that is seeing some substantial growth is the River Crossing Development along Highway 15 and County Road 1.

The city of Sartell saw lots of growth in 2022 both commercially and with additional single family homes. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON. He expects even more growth commercially for the city in 2023.

Sartell has one hotel, the AmericInn, but is pushing for more. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He says he'd like to see a new hotel built this or next year. The location for this is likely to be between County Road 120 and County Road 1 along the Highway 15 corridor.

Sartell for quite awhile has been hinting at a big announcement of a business development along Highway 15 and County Road 1 (River Road). Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He says they still cannot officially announce all the details of the expected restaurant and retail additions on the west side of Highway 15 at river crossing and county road 1.

Sartell has become a destination spot for sports tournaments. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He says the city brings people to the community for tournaments often but many people leave for surrounding communities to stay in hotels and eat at restaurants.
