Sherburne County Fair

The Rice Bull Riding Company is one of many events highlighting the festivities at the Sherburne County Fair in Elk River this week. The Sherburne County Fair Board President is Jenni Axelson.

Last year marked just the second time in its 132-year history that the Sherburne County Fair hasn't happened.

Two more summer events have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now that several of the area town festivals have come and gone, it's time to gear up for the county fair season.

We promise you will not be bored this weekend with all the fun and exciting things to do in Central Minnesota. You can enjoy some family fun at the Sherburne County Fair, have some food and games in Foley at Party in the Park, catch a movie at Whitney Park, share some laughs with Jason Schommers comedy show and celebrate your loved ones with the Memorial Butterfly Release at Music in the Gardens. It's time to celebrate this weekend in Central Minnesota with some great music and fun including Sawyer Brown at Pierz Freedom Fest, Theatrical performance of Into the Woods at Pioneer Place, Hank Williams Jr. rocking the stage at Mystic Lake, The Sherburne County Fair and Disney's broadway performance of the Lion King at the Orpheum Theatre.
