UK based label Easy Action is set to release a disc of unheard recordings featuring late Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett. The performance was recorded at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge, England on Jan. 27, 1972.
Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett was the driving force behind Pink Floyd's debut album, 'The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn' but as a solo artist he recorded more albums than he did as Floyd's lead guitarist, lead vocalist and primary songwriter.
The 'Peel Sessions' was actually recorded soon after 'The Madcap Laughs' in 1970. These sessions were performances to air on BBC's, 'Top Gear Show' hosted by John Peel.
