The Timberwolves downed the Philadelphia 76ers 110-86 last night at Target Center. Minnesota led by 28 at halftime and held on in the 2nd half.

The San Antonio Spurs won easily over the Timberwolves Wednesday night 108-83 at Target Center. The Wolves trailed by 12 after 1 quarter. Minnesota was led in scoring by Zach LaVine with 17 points,

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeat the Sacramento Kings 101-91 in last (Friday) nights game. Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points, Zach LaVine added 19 points and eight rebounds to lead the Timberwolves to a victory.

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced their head coach and part-owner has died at age 60. Flip Saunders lost his battle to Hodgkin’s lymphoma today.

According to NBC Sports the Timberwolves have signed free agent forward Tayshaun Prince to a 1-year contract for the veteran minimum. Prince is a 6-9, 215 pound 35-year old veteran.

The Timberwolves traded point guard Mo Williams and shooting guard Troy Daniels to Charlotte for shooting guard Gary Neal and a 2019 2nd round pick. Williams was averaging 12.2 points and 6.4 assists a game this season.
