Former Minnesota Gopher Men's Basketball head coach Tubby Smith attempted a grand entrance Friday night at the Texas Tech Men's Basketball Midnight Madness event where he's now the coach. Unfortunately for Tubby, things didn't go as planned.

The dust is settling after Tubby Smith was fired as the head basketball coach at the University of Minnesota on Monday. Athletic Director Norwood Teague will conduct the search to find a replacement.
