The Vikings lost 34-33 Sunday at Arizona against the Cardinals. Greg Joseph missed a 37-yard field goal as time expired for the Vikings that would have won the game. The Vikings drop to 0-2 while Arizona improves to 2-0.

The Vikings lost 27-24 in overtime at Cincinnati Sunday to open the season. Kirk Cousins had another impressive stat line with 351 yards passing and 2 touchdowns without an interception. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan says both Head Coach Mike Zimmer and General Manager Rick Spielman don't like Kirk Cousins anymore.

The Vikings have reportedly acquired tight end Chris Herndon from the New York Jets in exchange for a 2022 4th round draft pick. The Vikings also get a 6th round in 2022 from the Jets. The Vikings will play at least one week without starting tight end Irv Smith Jr. due to meniscus surgery.

Minnesota Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter agreed to restructure his contract and will attend this week's minicamp and will be at training camp on time.
