Tenacious D Is Set To Perform In Minnesota This Summer

There are really only a handful of bands and artists around that can get away with making humorous music and still sell thousands of tickets. Among them Weird Al Yankovic, Steel Panther, and Wheeler Walker Jr. But the man who started it all is none other than the incredible – Tenacious D.

I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like their ridiculous approach to making music. They have a knack for writing insanely catchy rock tunes with some pretty grotesque and juvenile lyrics. I love it. My friends and I have been jamming them for years. "Wonderboy" and "Kickapoo" are personal favorites. Not to mention, their film "Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny" is a cult classic.

Needless to say I’m stoked that it was recently announced that they will be performing in Minnesota. Check them out at the Palace Theatre in Saint Paul on Tuesday, July 30th. The show starts at 8 pm and tickets are available online now for $100 a piece. (Keep in mind it is an age 18+ show.)
