The Doors, Discography, Short Catalog – Long Reach – ‘Other Voices’ [VIDEOS]

The title of this album, 'Other Voices' is very appropriate due to the fact it featured other voices since the lead vocal was no longer. The album was released in October 1971.It had now been three months since Morrison's death and the remaining members released 'Other Voices' an album they started to record after Jim's meltdown and relocating to Paris where he died.

Every song was penned by the Kreiger, Densmore and Manzarek with Robbie and Ray supplying the vocals.

'Other Voices' reached #31 on the album chart and they had one single, "Tightrope Ride" that barely made it to #71 on the singles chart. The band pretty much disregarded the LP until around 2006 when it was released on CD.
