ST. CLOUD — The sounds of music will be ringing loudly throughout Central Minnesota this weekend you and your family can enjoy. Nimco Yasin headings the Paramount Theatre this weekend, Flat Top Junction and the Guitar Heroes Legends of the Six String events kick off on the Veranda Lounge and Pioneer Place, and then get your country music fix at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre with their tribute to the Grand Ole Opry and the Amie Austin Band at Rollies. Nimco Yasin
Paramount TheatreNimco Yasin rose to fame as part of the Waaberi Group in the 1980s. The group was a national pride for the Somalian country and toured the world many times. Since leaving Somalia in 1989, Yasin has rebuilt her career known for her striking voice and emotional ballads. Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Flat Top Junction
Veranda LoungeEnjoy a variety of sound this weened at the Veranda Lounge in downtown St. Cloud. Flat Top Junction is a two man group made up of Country, Rock, Rhythm, and Blues. The duo is originally from St. Cloud and they know how to entertain with great harmonies and set lists. This event is free to attend and the show starts tomorrow (Friday) at 9:00 p.m.

Songs of the Grand Ole Opry & Sun Records
Chanhassen Dinner TheatreListen to the sounds of some old time country music this weekend. The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre is hosting an all-star Twin Cities' musical lineup dedicated to the Grand Ole Orpy. The show features music from artists from the 50s and 60s, which helped shaped the foundation of the sounds we hear today. Tickets for the show are $55 with dinner and $40 without. Dinner starts at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday night.

Amie Austin Band
Rollie's Rednecks and LongnecksHead out to Sauk Rapids tomorrow (Friday) for some country music out at Rollie's Rednecks and Longnecks. The Amie Austin Band rolls into town playing their country music hits. The four person band plays the covers of country music artists such as Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Johnny Cash and more. Showtime starts at 9:00 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Guitar Heroes: Legends of the Six-String
Pioneer PlaceGuitar lovers will want to make their way to Pioneer Place tomorrow for the Legends of the Six String show. Fabulous Armadillos guitarist Paul Diethelm will be performing many of the great guitar songs along with a few special guests. Tickets for the show are $37 and they are going fast. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m.
