The Central MN Weekender: Ringo Starr, Snow White, & More!

In the 1960s, The Beatles changed the landscape of music forever and this weekend, one quarter of the Fab Four visits the State Theater. Ringo Starr has been performing as a singer, songwriter, drummer and actor for the better part of five decades. For his dynamic impact on the world of music, Starr was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year and is touring the states to celebrate.

You can bring the whole family to the Paramount Theatre in the next 10 days to see a hilarious version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. GREAT Theatre brings this Stephen Duckham adaptation of the classic Grimm's fairy tale to the stage the kids of all ages will enjoy. One of the most popular musical acts is returning to St. Cloud this weekend as Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks will perform at Pioneer Place. Their show, Teen Idols, covers hits from the 1950s to the 1990s that will keep you rocking out and a multimedia presentation will have you learning about a different side of these musical eras. You will have chances to see this night of their Rockumentary series on three different nights this weekend with tickets starting at $28.

Audiences who come out to Escher Auditorium Friday night will be wowed by the amazing feats of agility and strength at Timber! by Le Cirque Alfonse.
