I can't be the only one that isn't surprised by this.  Honestly, I thought they had all closed a few months ago.  Apparently I was wrong. But now, the last one is actually closing due to Forever 21 filing bankruptcy for the second time in 6 years.  I thought it was less than that, I guess time flies.

Forever 21 has filed for bankruptcy...again.  The location that was in the Crossroads Mall in St. Cloud closed a few years ago, and is now the location for the Boot Barn, which only has an outside entrance.

There were a couple other locations around Minnesota, but the last one is the one that is in Apache Mall in Rochester.  And now, it looks like that one will be closing too.  That is, unless some sort of miracle happens.

The company is blaming the bankruptcy on cheap online clothing outlets like Shein and Temu.  They may not be wrong.  Clothes and shoes are super cheap, and the shipping is rather quick considering where they come from- the far East.  A lot of the clothes and shoes are even less expensive than some that you can buy through Amazon.  The return policies are a little confusing, but is that worth it for really inexpensive clothing?  Just take your chances.

Personally, I would rather shop locally, and in person, but those options are becoming less and less, and also more expensive.  Probably because of the above reasons or because of loss.  It seems that those types of places are continually hit hard with theft situations.

Stay tuned for any more information on the last store in Minnesota.  Chances are that they will close too.  But that has not been absolutely established as of yet.
