
Timberwolves Lose Budinger With Meniscus Tear
Timberwolves guard/forward Chase Budinger is out indefinitely with a torn meniscus in his left knee. Budinger suffered the injury at Chicago Saturday night. Budinger scored the game-winning layup on a brilliant feed from Andrei Kirilenko Friday night. Budinger is averaging 11.8 points and 3.5 rebounds a game this season.
The Wolves played Saturday without point guard J.J. Barea and shooting guard Brandon Roy. Barea has a foot sprain while Roy has a sore right knee.
The Timberwolves are 4-2 and will play at Dallas at 7:30 tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 7:00.
