I love these types of exhibits.  The kind where you do sort of feel like you are experiencing whatever it is first hand.  You become part of the exhibit with these immersive experiences.

IT'S ANOTHER IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE TO ENJOY IN MINNESOTA

There have been a few of these exhibits over the last few years.  This one that is coming up the beginning of August is surrounded around the Titanic.  We, as a society have been fascinated with the sinking of the Titanic for years.  It got even more popular after the movie Titanic came out in the late 90s.  Crazy that it has been that long since the movie that made Rose and Jack such popular fictional characters.  And yes, Jack could have absolutely fit on that door!

Titanic: An Immersive Voyage in Minneapolis is an extraordinary expedition that takes you deep into the history of the Titanic. Life-size recreations of the cabins, immersive video animations, and 3D projections allow you to experience what it was like to be a passenger aboard the ship, while discovering one of the most famous tragedies in history.

There are a couple of different types of tours that you can take.  The first one is more of an educational type tour.  Would be great as a class field trip.  That tour can be a smaller group of about 10 or so.  They also offer a large group tour for 25 or more people.  If you would like to book something more of a corporate outing, that can be arranged too.  Just check out the link to book for different groups with different needs and pricing.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR TOUR OF THIS IMMERSIVE EVENT

There are videos, there are some virtual reality portions and some life size replicas to explore.

Step aboard the Titanic and explore life-size replicas of some of the ship's parts
Discover an impressive collection of items related to the brief history of the Titanic
Watch a powerful, immersive video that chronicles the ship’s legendary final moments
Discover the history of the Titanic, from its creation to its sinking, and its aftermath
Dive into the depths of the ocean in an epic VR experience and explore the wreck site of the RMS Titanic

This exhibit runs from the 7th of August through the 29th of November, with several tour options each day.  They do take Tuesdays off where no tours are available.  And there won't be any tours on Thanksgiving Day.  Understandably.

They also offer some different levels of pricing.  The regular adult pricing is at $25 +fees.  There is a Senior/student/military or disabled price which is $22 +fees.  And a child (age 4-12) for $19 +fees. And finally, some VIP options that start at $10 more than any of the other pricing mentioned.
