Today in Music News 8.18.16
Every weekday, we take a look at what's happening in Music News.
Check out the headlines HERE:
- Pink Floyd is re-issuing three vinyl albums - The Dark Side of the Moon, Atom Heart Mother and Obscured by Clouds on September 23rd. Expect to see The Wall and Division Bell re-issues on August 26th.
- The Beatles famously walked away from touring in 1966, but looking back now, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr say that decision was never final.
- Kiss will be back on the shelves in comic book stores very soon. Expect to see their own comic book series called simply Kiss.
- Metallica is playing at U.S. Bank Stadium THIS SATURDAY, August 20th. If you can’t make it, they’re gonna stream THE ENTIRE THING!
I seriously CANNOT WAIT for the re-issuing of those albums from PF. I have a vinyl collection at home and that is just waiting for new inductions!
Also, makes me mad that The Beatles could have kept touring. Would have been pretty darn sweet to see them continue. If the Beatles managed to find a way to stay together, they’d probably still be touring today.
