Every weekday, we take a look at what's happening in Music News.

Check out the headlines HERE:

  • Sixx:A.M. has announced that we are getting a new album! On Nov. 18, they’ll put out Prayers for the Blessed Vol. 2, the follow up album to Prayers for the Damned Vol. 1, which they released back in April.
  • It appears that Led Zeppelin's publishers are still trying to get some money from the hit song Stairway to Heaven. They are currently trying to get Led Zeppelin to pay for their legal fees that came associated with the legal battle around the song.
  • The lead singer of The Pretenders Chrissie Hynde just turned 65, and with her birthday she announced that the band will have a new album out called Alone, and will be hitting the shelves on October 21st. Their last album Break Up the Concrete was released back in 2008. (They will be performing with Stevie Nicks as the headliner on December 6th @ Xcel Energy Center)
  • If Yes gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, former singer Joe Anderson would like the band to get back together for their 50th anniversary. BUT, only IF they get inducted.

Baxter is super excited about the new Sixx:A.M. coming! But, make sure you pay attention on October 21st as well - LOTS of new music will be coming out that day!
