“Transit Authority: A Tribute To Chicago” Comes To St. Michael
Okay, I’m just gonna be honest here. There are some bands in the history of rock music that all sound exactly the same to me. You know the ones I’m talking about. Almost every glam rock and punk band that has ever walked the face of the Earth all sound exactly the same.
But they aren’t the only guilty culprits. There are three bands that I’m always getting confused – Boston, REO Speedwagon, and Chicago. Maybe it’s just me, but if I wasn’t already familiar with their big hits I would probably mistake them all for the same group. No disrespect though, I know plenty of people who love those bands – especially Chicago.
I actually even used to be able to play “25 Or 6 To 4” on the saxophone back in my marching band days. If you or someone you know loves the music of Chicago you’ll be thrilled to hear that you can check out a pretty amazing tribute to the band pretty soon. “Transit Authority: A Tribute To Chicago” will be taking place at the Le Musique Room in St. Michael on October 20th at 8 pm. You can get a ticket online now for $27.
