Tribute To John Denver Will Take Place In St. Michael

There are really only a handful of singer-songwriters in the history music that made a long term impact on pop culture. Some of them being Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.

Of course, another name that has to make the list is the one and only – John Denver. Tom was one of the most influential songwriters of all time. I didn’t really appreciate his music until after he had already passed away, but now looking back at his catalogue of music, I have a new found respect for it.

For obvious reasons you won’t be able to see Mr. Denver perform those songs live anymore. You can, however, see the music of John Denver by Layne Yost at the Le Musique Room in St. Michael on Saturday, November 9th. The show is taking place at 8 pm and tickets are available online now for $29. It's one of the best John Denver tributes around. It’s definitely worth checking out.
