The Twins picked up a rare win against the Yankees yesterday afternoon in New York, putting an end to their six-game losing streak. The win came in the form of a strong start by Samuel Deduno, three Minnesota home runs, and a Gardenhire ejection.

The victory was just the second in the last fourteen games for the Twins, who face the Yankees in the rubber game of the series this afternoon at 12:05 CT, before heading into the four day All-Star break.

With Saturday's win, the Twins earned just their eighth win at Yankee Stadium (old or new) since 2002. In that stretch, they are 8-31.
