The Minnesota Twins swapped the nineteenth-rated prospect in their farm system for veteran starting pitcher Jaime Garcia of the Atlanta Braves.

The Twins traded Huascar Ynoa to the Braves in exchange for Garcia. Ynoa is just 19 years old and is currently 0-1 with a 5.26 earned run average at Elizabethton of the Rookie League.

Garcia, 31, is in his ninth season at the Major League level, with the first eight years spent with the St. Louis Cardinals. Garcia is 4-7 this season with a 4.30 ERA and has a career mark of 66-52 with an ERA of 3.65.

The Twins also received journeyman catcher Anthony Recker, 33, in the trade. Recker is a career .199 with four teams over seven seasons.
