Twins Trade Former MVP For 28 Year Old Journeyman
Another day, another questionable roster move as the Twins announced they have traded former MVP Justin Morneau to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a 28-year old journeyman outfielder.
Morneau was swapped Saturday afternoon for Alex Presley, a career .292 hitter in eight MINOR league seasons. He has appeared in 29 games this season for Pittsburgh, batting .264 with two home runs.
