Rehnborg stated he and Valley Fair employees are "Just as disappointed as you are" about the delayed opening of Valley fair this year. He added that the park will open "When the time is right".  He also added they are busy working on getting the rides ready.

According to Valley fair's Website, there will be a few postponed attractions originally scheduled for this season.

The Peanuts Celebration, honoring the classic cartoons of Minnesota native, Charles Schultz will be postponed as well as Monster jam thunder Alley and the evening parade and international street festival Grand Carnivale.

The good news, I guess, is that all Season Passes and Season Pass Add On Products have been extented through the 2021 season.

Every part of me wants to believe that Valley Fair and attractions all over Minnesota will be able to open and operate in a semi normal capacity, but realistically I don't see it happening.

I think in an effort to be safe rather than sorry, most all places, where crowds would potentially gather, will not be opening this year.  We can only hope that things are more back to normal, whatever that will be, next year.
