It's craxy to think how much certain pop stars & popular shows can influence people into buying certain things that they wear.  I'm sure it's totally unintentional, but there it is, you wear something and you're popular, and well known, BOOM!!  We have a run on whatever that person was wearing.

THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE

This sort of thing happened a couple of years ago when a kid on Stranger Things was wearing a sweatshirt from the Science Museum of Minnesota.  And now it has happened again.

This time it was from a video from the K-Pop Band BTS member Jin.

Suddenly, because of this video for "Running Wild", fans are going crazy trying to find this particular sweatshirt.

This sweatshirt is not available right now.  Apparently it hasn't been available since the early 2000s.  But now, since there is such a demand for it, the U of M shop is trying to get some more in.  They have special ordered a large supply so that they can sell them to the fans of the band, plus get more of their logo out into the wild.

From the Star Tribune:

Jake Ricker, a University of Minnesota spokesperson, confirmed the U has licensed the block letter M design and recently approved its use by clothing brand Champion.

If you are wondering what the video was, here ya go.

If you want to jump on this bandwagon, the bookstore at the University of Minnesota hopefully will have them in stock soon.
