Wanted MN Man Shoots Himself on the Way to Surrender
I don't know what could possibly be that bad that one would decide to end it all. But perhaps, the thought of returning to jail was more than this guy could deal with.
The Swift County Sheriff's Office reported that a man from Benson, Minnesota was being taken, by an unknown driver, to Swift County Jail to turn himself in on a warrant for possessing ammunition by a convicted felon, a felony offense.
According to the Minnesota Dept of Corrections, last Monday at approximately 8 AM, while being driven to the county jail, the man shot himself. The driver was unaware that the man was carrying a gun. The driver was uninjured.
The man's name has not been released. The sheriff's office is still looking into the incident
