ST. CLOUD - Expect some slowdowns on Highway 10 in the St. Cloud metro area.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will be installing a high-tension cable median barrier along six miles of the highway from East St. Germain Street north to County Road 33.

Segments of the road will be reduced to a single lane from sunrise to sunset, during non-rush hours, Monday through October 30th.

Cable median barriers can reduce fatalities up to 95 percent.
