This video is suddenly making the rounds on reddit, and there's no wondering why. The interview from 1997 has been on Roger Ebert's Journal Blog for around 3 years now, and with Ebert's recent death, many of us are scouring his old blogs looking for wisdom (or snarkyness).

In the video, the incomparable George Carlin is a guest on Jon Stewart's MTV show from the late 90's, aptly titled 'The Jon Stewart Show'. It shows just how good Stewart is, asking simple heart-felt questions that we have always wondered. Not only that, but Carlin is prophet-like in this riff, as near the end, he predicts that in the future, we'll be hearing a lot more from Mr. Stewart. Well played, George. Well played.
