Watch the Vikings Practice a Little Closer To Home

I can't believe that it's already just about time to talk Vikings and football.  That's a Fall thing... but it's only about a month away....  practice, that is...

Now, it's going to be a bit closer to home.  Instead of having to drive all the way to Mankato, it's a bit closer in Eagan.  It's still a drive, but not nearly as far.  This is really cool.  In another city that I've lived in... remains nameless, but the colors are green and gold... and the team name rhymes with slackers. people would make a day of going, seeing the team practice and just showing some general support.  It will be great to have that opportunity a bit closer than it was before.  Why it was in Mankato in the first place??  No idea.  I'm sure there is a good reason, but I just don't know what it was.

Some of the things that you need to know... rookies practice for the first time on July 25th, veterans practice on July 28th.  First padded practice will be on July 30th and there will be a night practice will be on August 4th.  There are a limited number of tickets for each practice.  Some are free, some are reserved and will cost a small fee.

Whatever you decide to do, I love that the option to watch the team...a team that is showing a lot of promise.... is now closer and more centrally located.
