Website To Pay Someone $1,000 To Watch St. Patrick’s Day Movies
If you want this job, you'll need a little bit of the luck of the Irish. One website is looking for one lucky person to pay in return for watching St. Patrick's Day movies.
Zippia.com just announced the job search, announcing they will pay someone $1,000 bucks if they watch ten different movies relating to the famous holiday.
Here's how it works: submit an application on their website and if you're chosen, you will have to watch ten Irish movies by St. Patrick's Day. The movies you will be tasked with watching are as follows:
- My Left Foot
- The Crying Game
- Far And Away
- Circle Of Friends
- The Departed
- Walking Ned Devine
- Angela's Ashes
- The Wind That Shakes The Barley
All of these movies have a St. Patrick's Day theme and will be given to you via a link you can click to watch. All in all, according to the website, this should take you about 17 hours and 23 minutes.
On top of the big chunk of change, the lucky winner will also get: a corned beef and cabbage meal for four, a box of Lucky Charms cereal, a McDonald's gift card good for four large Shamrock Shakes and an entire U2 album of your choosing.
When all is said and done, you will need to write a 1,000 word summary of what you learned about the Irish culture from watching the films. Turn it in and voila!
This kind of contest has been very popular as of late. Just last month, a different website offered one lucky person one-grand in exchange for watching episodes of The Office.
Applications for the contest are due on the afternoon of March 15th. Good luck!
OR... if March Madness is more your speed, you can do that instead and make that $1,000 watching ALL the games and post on social media. Apply here.
