I was about ten or eleven when the British Invasion hit the States. There was so much great rock through the 60's and the 70's were even better.

I started going through old albums in my garage last week and ran across some of the best ever recorded, in my opinion.

Here are my 5 favorite;

"Abraxas" from Santana certainly got it's fair share of spins on the old turntable.

"Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention Live at the Filmore".  It's one of those albums that gets better every time you hear it. Flo & Eddie from the Turtles make up the Mothers of Invention.

 "Rubber Soul" from the Beatles.  they were just starting to come into their own. Great album

"Fresh Cream"  From Cream.  Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, how can you go wrong?

And finally, EVERY single album from Led Zeppelin. They had me hooked from their first album and never disappointed with the rest. Even their "throw away" album "Coda" was great.

What are your top 5 favorite albums? Curious to hear.
