White Castle thinks you should make your holiday stuffing from their famous hamburgers this year, yes I'm serious. I can't decide if I'm intrigued by their creativeness or disgusted. You can decide for yourself by taking a look at the recipe on the next page.

Stuff your Thanksgiving turkey with this White Castle style stuffing this year... or don't.

10 White Castle hamburgers (pickles removed)

1 1/2 cups diced celery

1 1/4 teaspoons each ground sage and ground thyme

1 1/2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper

1/4 cup chicken broth

Tear burgers into small pieces and put in large mixing bowl with celery, thyme, sage, and pepper and mix together.

Add chicken broth and mix again.

Stuff the mixture into the turkey cavity just before roasting.

This recipe makes about 9 cups - enough for a 10-12 pound turkey. If you are making a turkey of a different size use one White Castle burger per pound of turkey, which will be the equivalent of 3/4 cups of stuffing per pound.

my only request - if you actually try this you have to let me know how it turns out...best of luck! I will be sticking to my stuffing recipe.
