Wild Offense Fizzles Against Flames Tuesday

The Minnesota Wild were shut out 1-0 by the Calgary Flames Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild fall to 8-6-1 with the loss.

Johnny Gaudreau scored the only goal of the game at 6:05 of the first period on the power play for Calgary. The Flames had six chances on the power play, while the Wild had only two. Both teams registered 27 shots on goal.

The Wild will host the Boston Bruins Thursday night at Xcel Energy Center. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:45.
