It was just announced this weekend that blonde bombshell Loni Anderson, who was born in St. Paul, had passed away at the age of 79.  Her publicist, Cheryl Kagen, made the announcement stating that she passed away at a hospital in Los Angeles following a prolonged illness.

WHAT WAS LONI ANDERSON KNOWN FOR

Loni Anderson was known for a couple of things, one was playing Jennifer Marlowe on WKRP in Cincinnati, and the other was as the wife of actor Burt Reynolds.   WKRP ran for four seasons from 1978 to 1982.  She was billed as the "smartest person in the room" a direct change from the "dumb blonde".

Since her passing, there have been a ton of searches looking for ways to watch the sitcom that made her famous.  WKRP in Cincinnati.  But, that is really hard to find.  In my own search, you can find a ton of youtube.com clips of the show.  But not really any full episodes.

WHY NO FULL EPISODES ON A STREAMING SERVICE

After doing a search as to why you cannot find these episodes on a streaming service, it seems that the problem is the music that was played during the show.  It is, of course, a radio station, and there are licensing issues with the original music.

If you do happen to find some full episodes of the show, the music has generally been changed from the original and replaced with some generic production music.  Kind of a bummer, but you can probably understand why that would be.  It would be crazy-expensive to have the original music streamed within the show.

Probably the most known episode was the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Dop
