You’re Invited! Local Authors Gather For “Voices of Women Unleashed” Event Friday

YOU'RE INVITED

Everyone is invited to a Red Carpet event complete with speakers and hors D' oerves taking place at the Stearns History Museum for a book signing this Friday, September 20th, 2024 from 5 to 8 pm. No registration is necessary.

The event is FREE to attend and will be celebrating the book, 'Voices of Women UNLEASHED in Justice,' by Dr. Evelyn Marie Hill, a Visionary Anthologist.

Dr. Hill asked many women to write a chapter in her book, including several local authors who will be on hand for the book signing, including Debra Leigh, Njeri Clement, and Waruguru Wahome Nyoike. A judge, doctors, and women of all different backgrounds and work fields share their stories.

Signed copies will also be available for purchase at the event. Dr. hill will be there, as well as many of the contributing authors, including Debra Leigh and Njeri Clement who both live locally and work for St. Cloud Technical and Community College, and Waruguru Wahome Nyoike is based out of Minneapolis.

ABOUT THE BOOK

According to the foreword by La Rochelle Young:
