When you’re talking about guitarists who write the most memorable riffs, there are a few names that you have to mention: Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, and Tony Iomi to name a few. One name that often gets overlooked is Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.

The bearded guitar wizard has written his fair share of memorable guitar licks over the years.“Sharp Dressed Man” “La Grange” and “Cheap Sun Glasses” are pretty unforgettable. And honestly, he sounds just as good now at age 69 as he did in his 20s.

If you happen to love Billy’s classic riffs as much as I do, you can catch him shredding them out live at the Grand Stand Stage at this year's Minnesota State Fair (in Falcon Heights.) Doors open at 6 pm with the show kicking off at 7 pm. Tickets are available online right now for as cheap as $39. That's a small price to pay to check out one of the all time greats.
