Anytime you use a hook whether it be a song title, a book or in this case the album title, 'The Smoker You Drink the Player You Get' it's going to draw attention.
Joe Walsh is a guitar artist which put him in the limelight of others, an influence to many a guitar player today.
After The James Gang, Joe formed a band named Barnstorm and this was their second album, however; if you look at the album cover it only lists Joe Walsh.
The song, "Rocky Mountain Way"was the catalyst of success for the album, a hit for radio and still going strong on the classic rock playlist even 40 years later.
