This morning on the morning show we talked with Kate about this weeks' Adoptable Pet. This week we need to find a home for Chico, a husky mix is our best guess. Last week's Adoptable Pet, Roy has found a home. So, thank you to whoever took Roy in.

Meet Chico! He came to TCHS as a transfer from another facility, so not much is known of his history. Has been very friendly with staff since intake. Unknown how he would do with other animals or children. Slow and proper introductions are recommended when introducing new pets or people.

Would recommend a high quality diet to ensure he stays healthy well into the future. Durable toys such as KONGS or rope toys would be recommended to keep him entertained in his new home. Supplies can be purchased in the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe; all proceeds go back to help the animals,

Unknown how he would do with housetraining; a consistent potty schedule will help set him up for success in his new home. Chico is still learning some manners, but he knows how to sit for a treat!. His new owners should be prepared to work with him on obedience training to make him a well-trained doggo!
He is treat-motivated and loves wet food. Would recommend regular walks to keep him busy and active. This cute shepherd cannot wait to meet you! Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
