A Ray Manzarek Tribute is Still in the Works

A Ray Manzarek tribute is still in the works. 

Robby Kreiger and John Densmore say they have not given up on the idea of a tribute to late Doors keyboard player Ray Manzarek.

According to Billboard, Robby says he and John have talked about it and are “truly trying to get something together”, but it has been challenging to coordinate schedules and to find a time when everyone involved is available to participate. He says that they don’t want to just “throw something together” they want it to be special and that “all possibilities are open.”

Ray Manzarek died last year following a battle with cancer.
