Adoptable Pet of the Week, Sabrina Wants a Home and Family

Kate from Tri County Humane Society gave us a call this morning to update us on what's up for adoption.

Sabrina, a beautiful black female cat that really needs to get into a home and have a family. Sabrina has a health issue, feline leukemia and can't be around other cats. So Sabrina must be the only cat in the home but she does well with dogs. Also, she can only be strictly an indoor cat, as to not infect other cats outdoors.

Meet the beautiful Sabrina! ~~ She came into TCHS due to her previous owner moving and not being able to take her with ~~ This girl loves catnip and is very playful ~~ Various types of toys would help keep her busy ~~ She did very well with dogs in the past and enjoys the company and snuggles of a feline friend ~~ Would do better with older or no children in the home ~~ Was described as very lovable and would seek out people for affection ~~ Enjoys playing in cardboard boxes ~~ She would enjoy a cat tree or perch near the window to watch the critters outside ~~ Sabrina has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which affects a cat's immune system ~~ Due to this positive status, she must be the only cat in the home or live only with other FeLV positive cats ~~ Additionally, she must be indoors only to decrease spread of the virus ~~ While some cats can have health complications from FeLV, many live long, happy, healthy lives ~~ This sweetheart would love to find her new home soon! ~~ Cats are on sale!
