After a Year, Guthrie Theatre has Reopening Plan
If you were missing out on the annual A Christmas Carol show, among many others at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, you will again have a chance to continue that annual tradition.
The Guthrie Theatre has announced their reopening plan in a press release.
Right now it looks like they are planning to reopen in October with a limited run production on the McGuire Proscenium stage, which hasn't been announced as of yet. Right after that will be the long awaited return of "A Christmas Carol". That show is a tradition that a lot of people look forward to around the holidays, and last year just didn't seem the same without it. It was a strange year all around, but this was one of the things that was missed.

The Guthrie says that it normally takes about 6 months to get a whole production up and running. This is why the season has been pushed to next Fall. But at least there is a plan in place. There is also a planned production season that will include about 5 plays. That is scheduled to run from January of 2022 through August of next year.
If you would like to keep track of what is happening and when the production season and what will be shown, you can check the Guthrie Theatre website for more information.
