I have always been a huge fan of art/theater rock. The production on those types of shows is always fun to experience, and you feel like you walked away with more than just the typical musical performance.

When it comes to theatrical rock performances, there are really only a few names worth mentioning. Among them Pink Floyd/Roger Waters, The Blue Man Group, Tool, and of course the godfather of shock rock himself – Alice Cooper. Alice and Pink Floyd practically founded that type of performance, and very few people have executed as well as they have since.

Unfortunately, Pink Floyd is officially retired (although Roger still tours) and Alice Cooper doesn't have anything booked in Minnesota anytime in the near future. However, you can still check out all his legendary tunes played live with "Almost Cooper: The Alice Cooper Experience." The show will be taking place on Thursday, December 5th at 7 pm at the Myth in St. Paul. Tickets are available online now.
