St. Cloud's Back To School Bash, Ice Cream Social, And More

It's hard to believe that we are just about at that time of year when the thoughts go to Back to School. Many colleges already have students coming back and setting up their apartments and dorms, and that will continue through the beginning of September.

Grades K-12 will be heading back to school within the next few weeks. Personally, I think everyone should start after Labor Day, but that doesn't always fly with every school in the area. Some do start towards the end of August.

EVENTS HAPPENING WITH A BACK TO SCHOOL THEME NEXT WEEKEND

There are a few events that will be happening throughout the next few weeks. One of which is the Crossroads Center.

August 9th from 10am through 12 Noon. It's a Back to School Bash. This one is mostly geared towards grade school aged kids.

Magic Show at 11AM – Prepare to be amazed!

Balloon Twisting from 10AM-12PM – Take home a balloon masterpiece!

Coloring Crafts from 10AM–12PM – Fun for all ages!

Face Painting from 10AM–12PM – Pick your favorite design!

There is also a Back to School Ice Cream Social and 742 Donation Drive. This is scheduled from 11:30 to 1pm on August 9th as well. This event will be held at Lake George in St. Cloud. If you are interested in seeing what items are needed for the donation drive - they did post that on their social media feed.

Small gift cards (eg $5 - 10) to places like 5Below, gas stations, movie theater, ice cream shops, or wherever else you think a high school senior would enjoy
Chips
Fidgets for high schoolers
Candy
An inspiring message (or any combination of the above!) for seniors who may need a bit of extra encouragement
Small bags to hold the incentive bag items
