ST CLOUD'S HISTORY OF COMEDY IN ONE LOCATION

Back in the day, we were able to have a comedy club with Charlie's which is where the Olde Brick House is now.  And after that, it was located upstairs in that same building when it was First Street Station. After that, there was another change in ownership and a name change to Rum Runners.  The comedy shows moved to a new location.

MOVING LOCATIONS

In recent years, the Benton Station in Sauk Rapids has been known to be the comedy spot every week.  Of course, that was the location after First Street Station closed, as the Benton Station had the same owner.

TIME OF SHUT DOWNS

When the pandemic hit, and we had all of those closures, virtually everything was shut down, and that ended the weekly comedy shows at the Benton Station.

Until now.

Back, but only for one night, comedy is back at the Benton Station in Sauk Rapids. If you would like to head out, have some great drinks and food, your Saturday night plans are now made!

This Saturday night, May 31st, comedy is back with two headliners.

Gabe Noah, originally from Detroit Lakes and Frank Roche, originally from Detroit, Michigan, will bring the laughs starting at 7:30.  While this will be a one night only show, comedy will be coming back on a regular basis to the Benton Station starting this coming Fall.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The admission is very reasonable.  For just $20, you get the full comedy show, then stick around for DJ & Karaoke on both stages at the Benton Station.  It's recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance by calling 320-253-2222, or you can try your luck at the door. But there is a good chance that it could be sold out by that time.  So it's best to call ahead of time and get your tickets in advance.

COMEDY IS BACK, and more on a regular basis this coming Fall.

History of Minnesota Timberwolves' 1st Round Draft Picks - Year by Year

No team has probably suffered more in its history in Minnesota than the Timberwolves from playoff failures to poor decisions, see Joe Smith's contract, and bad trades it seems like the team is almost always in the wait-until-next-year mode. A look at the team's first-round draft picks over the years may help explain some of it.
