Big “Muddin” Event in Minnesota Over Labor Day Weekend

All of my life I've heard people talking about going "muddin".  I never really understood the fascination with doing that, but then I had a vehicle with 4 wheel drive and bigger tires and it was kind of fun to go "off road" every so often.

There is an annual event that focuses on just this thing coming up over Labor Day weekend.  Howie's Mud Bog in Finlayson, Minnesota.  It's a 4 day event with many things happening over those 4 days.

From this list seems like there is something for everyone.  Including some music each night.  So, get dirty during the day and enjoy the evening dancing the night away.

They also offer primitive camping on site and it looks like there may be some hotels nearby.  If you are a participant there are some waivers that will need to be signed from the looks of it.  Might be just fun to watch others get their "mud on".
