This weekend, the weekend before the actual St. Patrick's Day on the 17th, is when a ton of fun St. Patrick's Day celebrations happen.  And around the St. Cloud area, that is no different than anywhere else.  Some of the biggest parties happen in St. Joe for the pub crawl, and also in Marty with a parade and some other fun events which will happen next weekend, March 21st.

There are several other events celebrating the day thoroughout the country.  Suddenly everyone you know is at least a little bit Irish.  I am about a quarter Irish - that counts!

Of course, with all of these celebrations, there has to be some sort of ranking system that let's everyone know where the best celebrations are.  And if you are willing to travel, you could find some of the best.

This time the ranking comes from livenowfox.com.  They put Boston, MA as the number one best town for St. Patrick's Day.

Boston is known for its St. Patrick’s Day parade, which brings in around a million visitors per year, according to WalletHub. Boston’s parade tradition is also one of the oldest in the U.S., dating back to 1724, before te U.S. was even an independent country!

St. Paul, Minnesota came in at number 8 - so solidly in the top 10 of the best cities for St. Patrick's Day celebrations.

St. Paul, Minnesota, is consistently ranked among the top U.S. cities for St. Patrick’s Day, renowned for its 60-year tradition, downtown parade, and vibrant, community-focused Irish celebrations. Key highlights in St. Paul include the annual parade, live music, and authentic Irish pubs
